Brass Peacock Oil Lamp Decor

DESCRIPTION

Lord Murugan is shown in the sculpture standing on an upside-down lotus base with his vahana, the peacock, behind him. Lord Kumara is portrayed as having four arms; the Abhaya mudra is displayed on his lower right arm, and the Varada mudra is displayed on his left arm. The powerful weapon used by Lord Kumara, the sakthi Vel, which bears the Tamil OM inscription, is positioned diagonally to the right of the statue. His flag, known as the seval kodi and bearing an inscription featuring a rooster, is situated next to the statue on its left diagonal side. Crafted by the superfine brass, this statue is a testament to Indian handicraft.
