DESCRIPTION

The rare Vishwaroopa Kartikeya statue. The Vishwaroopa, also known as Lord Arumugan, has twelve limbs and six faces. The murti that you may see on this page is a unique representation of each of them. The Lord is seated on the back of its lovely vahana, the peacock, His legs gathered in lalitasana. He carries weapons to defeat adharma, abundant blessings, and bravery for the genuinely devoted. Its short body is flanked by tiny temple pillars, from the tops of which a completely circular prabhavali emerges (aureole).
